Welcome to fourth grade! My name is Mrs. Lori Hargraves. I have worked in this district for twenty-seven years. I taught Special Education for seventeen years, and this will be my eleventh year to teach fourth grade. I have lived in Zeigler for most of my life. I attended ZR and went to SIU for my teaching degree. I also received my Master's degree from Rockford College.
My husband Joe is the custodian at the high school. He also drives a bus and coaches the high school golf team. I have three children that also attended this school. My son, Joey, is an attorney and lives in St. Louis, MO, with his wife, Austin, and their son Anthony and daughter Eleanor. My daughter, Megan Deason, is an 8th grade Literature teacher in West Frankfort. She and her husband, Preston, have four daughters: Bailey, Jenna, Ava, and Addison. My youngest daughter, Tara, is a school counselor at Murphysboro High School.
When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my six grandchildren. I hope that you all enjoy my classroom as much as I enjoy having you here!
